Hadn’t realized it’s been about a month since the last post. I’ve been alright, but just busy with it being Season and all. Weekends have been a mix of trying to stay afloat with maintenance tasks, rest, and trying to squeeze in a little gaming here and there.
This has been somewhat successful, but mostly not as well as I would like yet. I’ve figured out how to curve the issue, so once that’s taken care of then the weekends will flow a lot better, and with that a bit more updates and posts that I would like to do. The stories concluding the Cousins are still slated to come out before Evercold, but Aiki and I haven’t really been around Eorzea for quite some time now, and honestly it’s been a nice break.
We are still planning on adventuring into Evercold and the Fourth when it comes out, but it just needs to be approached far more cautiously than previous expansions, and with the game changing how the dailies/weeklies are to be done to be more in line with Gatcha games’ schedules (this works perfect in NTE as an example) it should be far less strenuous to the usual RL schedule.
So, what else has been going on; well usual music server additions, playing NTE when able (albeit Patch 1.4 is a mess at least on PS5), and lately quite a bit of No Man’s Sky. No Man’s Sky in particular I didn’t expect to get back into quite so much but with everything they have added, it’s been a great and wild ride across the galaxy.
Aside from recently accomplishing one of the original game launches’ main objectives – going to the literal center of the galaxy – been running through the first two forks of the story missions, but stopping at as many systems along the way. It’s been really fun and gratifying, but also causing a smidgen too many late(ish) night rabbit holes to hop down and explore. I’ll probably talk about No Man’s Sky a bit more elsewhere, but I doubt I’ll do something as elaborate as ‘Star Bunny’ is/was, but it’s pretty bonkers what there is to do in the game’s universe now for certain.
